Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to activities provided by Art Kids Brussels ASBL/VZW (“Art Kids Brussels” or “AKB” or “association” or “we” or “us”). 

​

These terms and conditions are in addition to the Website Disclaimer and Privacy Policy apply to any of our online and onsite classes, workshops, performances and other activities performed by the members of Art Kids Brussels, hereinafter referred to as “activities”. 

​

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before registering to any of our activities and print off a copy for your records.

 

During the registration via our website http://www.artkidsbrussels.com/, hereinafter referred to as “website”, to any of our activities, by clicking on the “Register” button you agree to the terms of this agreement.

​

If you do not agree to any of these terms and conditions, please contact us, so we could find the common solution, if possible.

1. Activities

​

A description of the activities together with the time schedule are available on our website. We will provide the activities with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the description set out on our website.

​

We reserve the right to vary or withdraw any of the activities described on our website without notice.

​

2. Membership

​

The participation in the activities is reserved for the associated members of the Art Kids Brussels association. Any person(s) who supports the objectives of the association and participates in its activities is considered as associated member, hereinafter referred to as “participant(s)”.

​

The participants agree to comply with the terms & conditions specified in the association statute and decisions made in accordance with them.

​

The participants are admitted on the basis of the registration form available on our website.

​

3. Enrolment Fees

​

The participants are required to pay an enrolment fee, hereinafter referred to as “fee”. based on the activities of the association in which they participate.

​

The amount of the fee is fixed by the association’s administration as set out on our website.

​

4. Payment

​

Unless otherwise specified, participants, after having been accepted by the association’s administration, must pay the corresponding fee within 10 days of the registration confirmation and always before the first session of participation in the activities.

 

All payments are to be made via the bank transfer towards “Art Kids Brussels ASBL/VZW” on the account BE27 3632 0358 6973 (BIC: BBRUBEBB)

5. Cancellation

​

The cancellation of the registration is possible only due to the illness of the participant (with the presence of a certificate from a doctor) and it should be done at least 24 hours before the activity scheduled start time. In this case:

​

  • a voucher (valid for 6 months from the date of issue) may be provided on request.

 

Only the cancellation of the activities done by Art Kids Brussels gives the right to a refund according to the number of cancelled activities.

6. Personal Data

​

The participant (or his / her legal representative) expressly agrees that the personal data provided in the registration form will be processed by Art Kids Brussels for the purpose of the registration and administration. The participant agrees to be automatically subscribed to the information mailing list.

​

The personal data collected is kept for the period strictly necessary for the management of the relationship between the participant and the association establishing a right or a contract.

​

Art Kids Brussels may take pictures and/or record video of the participants during their participation in the activities. Unless expressly prohibited, the participant allows the use and dissemination of photos and videos for all promotions of the organization: our website, our pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, flyers, etc.

​

The participants may at any time contact Art Kids Brussels to access or modify his/her personal data or oppose any use of it that exceeds the scope outlined above.

7. Intellectual Property

​

All intellectual property rights for our activities, and remain, the intellectual property of Art Kids Brussels ASBL/VZW.

 

The participants are not authorized to:

​

(i) copy, modify, reproduce, re-publish, sub-license, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit or distribute any of our activities materials without prior written permission;

​

(ii) record on video the activities given;

​

(iii) use the activities materials in the provision of any other activities given by any third-party company;

​

(iv) remove any copyright or other notice of Art Kids Brussels on the activities materials, examples of the art works published on the website etc.;

​

In consideration of the fee paid by the participant, we grant to the participant a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the activities materials for the sole purpose of participation in the activity.

​

8. Force Majeure

​

Art Kids Brussels shall not be liable to the participants for any breach of its obligations or termination under these terms and conditions arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes and other Acts of God, terrorism, strikes, delay caused by transport disputes, failure to provide the activity caused by a death in the trainer’s family, illness of the trainer, Government edict or regulation.

9. Insurance

​

Art Kids Brussels is insured in civil liability with the insurance company AG Insurance for accidents occurring to children in the context of activities organized by Art Kids Brussels (classes, workshops, events, etc.). The price of this insurance is included in the enrollment fee.
